Az előadásról:

Licheń (Poland): a semiotic study of a contemporary pilgrimage center

The lecture will investigate the micro-cosmos of a post-modern catholic mega-worship center, as a case study of Licheń’s phenomenological space. The analysis will show the dynamics of the production of collective memory, the process of semiotic fortition affecting all artefacts in the center and will enquire into the creation of double binds (the term after Gregory Bateson).
