Two internationally acclaimed professors' lecture in our Faculty

The Eötvös Loránd University Faculty of Social Sciences cordially invite you for two lectures by Prof. Alberto Gasparini and Prof. Manfred Nowak at 14.30 pm, on the 10th of May.

14:35 Prof. Gasparini: Civil Society and International Relations. Globalisation, Reconciliation and the Conditions for Conserving Peace
15:30 Prof. Nowak: World Court of Human Rights

The professors will be confered the title of Professor and Doctor Honoris Causa by the Senate of ELTE.

Alberto Gasparini

Professor Alberto Gasparini is an internationally acclaimed sociologist whose outstanding research and organizational achievement have earned him recognition all over in Europe and the Western world. He founded an outstanding international sociological institute in Gorizia that has trained generations of sociologists living and working now all over in Europe in the fields of migration, intercultural public policy and social policy.

Manfred Nowak

Professor Manfred Nowak is an internationally acclaimed human rights scholar whose professional and scholarly achievements have earned him recognition all over the world.
He is currently co-director of the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Human rights, which he cofounded with Felix Ermacora and which has become one of the most important and respected academic schools of human rights in Europe. He is also Professor for International Law and Human Rights at the University of Vienna.
