How to Get Around

To/from the University

The Faculty of Social Sciences is housed in the modern buildings on the “Lágymányos Campus” situated on the banks of the Danube, in the southern part of Buda, Budapest. The Lágymányos Campus consists of two buildings: the North Building (Északi Tömb) at Pázmány Péter sétány 1/A and the South Building (Déli Tömb) at Pázmány Péter sétány 1/C. Our workshop takes place in the North Building (Északi Tömb) at Pázmány Péter sétány 1/A.

Public transport

Public transport to the Lágymányos Campus:

by tram 4 or 6 and by bus 153, 154 or 212 to Petőfi híd, budai hídfő stop
by bus 153, 154 to Egyetemváros – A38 hajóállomás / Magyar Tudósok körútja stop

In order to have your trip planned to/from the campus, use Google Maps or Budapest Public Transport Centre’s application.

Bike

In case you prefer to bike to the campus, there is a free bike parking area.

Parking

Parking is free around the campus. If you wish to park your car here, be kind to send us an e-mail with your plate number to bigdata_workshop@tatk.elte.hu.

Taxi

If you prefer taking the cab, taxi company Bolt is a reliable option. Download their free app here.
