Science Studies Research Group
Overview
The aim of the Science Studies Research Group is to popularise the interdisciplinary field of science studies that situates and interprets the production of scientific knowledge in a broad social, cultural, historical, political context. We seek to introduce a wider audience to the applicability of the insights of sociology of science in a wide range of fields, and by organising regular conferences and workshop with participants from a big variety of natural and social sciences and the humanities. We try to catalyse interdisciplinary academic communication and possible cooperation.
