The Institute of Political and International Studies (at ELTE Faculty of Social Sciences) presents: Almost Impossible – The story of the Free SZFE and the Struggle for Academic Freedom in Hungary.

The Free-SZFE society was formed because of concerns about autonomy when the University of Theatre and Film Arts, Budapest (SZFE) was made into a Foundation. The aim of the Free SZFE Society is to create an autonomous artistic space and to provide an inspiring environment and opportunities for those who value artistic freedom.
