The Eötvös Loránd University, Faculty of Social Sciences, Savaria Department of Business Administration Brand and Marketing Communication Research Group plans to release a volume with the working title Two years in a new normality: Economic and social effects of the coronavirus pandemic.

The volume aims to publish high-quality papers that provide a better understanding of how the coronavirus pandemic changed our world, focusing on changes in business, society and education. The topics of the volume include, but are not limited to:

  • How do we cope with challenges of the pandemic as an individuum and as a society? Individually and socially?

  • How did the epidemic affect our consumption habits?

  • Responses of sectors or companies to the different stages of the epidemic

  • News and their effects on the coronavirus

  • Communication of scientific facts

  • Changes in communication and language

  • Online meetings as a new form of communication

  • Challenges for research

  • Challenges and experiences of online education and examinations

  • Challenges and experiences of creating digital learning materials

  • Presentation of good practices

  • Summarizing own experiences

Papers should be:

  1. There is no limit to the length of papers; shorter and longer papers can also be accepted. An average paper has a length of approx. 20.000 characters.

The volume is planned to be published in electronic form, after review and proofreading, in summer-autumn of 2022.
