Call for Proposals – Green Transition in Economy: Opportunities and Challenges

The interdisciplinary conference Green Transition in Economy: Opportunities and Challenges will explore the opportunities, challenges and impacts of the green transition of the economy in a broad context.
The third edition of the conference will thus focus on the links between sustainability and the economy. The conference will be held in English and Hungarian. The conference is open to both national and international speakers, and we particularly welcome presentations from doctoral students.
Some possible (but not exclusive) topics:
- Green economy in general context: ESG issues; green start-ups; challanges of carbon neutrality; supply chain sustainability; corporate responsibility and sustainability strategy; the role of recycling in the economy; digital solutions for the green economy (e.g., IoT, AI); turning waste into value
- Green thinking and sustainability in specific sectors: sustainable tourism; green energy; impact of climate change on specific sectors of the economy; innovations for sustainability; green economy and labour market; green innovations and fashion; green finance
- Green products: product design for sustainability; sustainable packaging; eco-design
- Green food: food waste; food industry in the context of sustainability; vegan food
- Green society: social impacts of the green transition; sustainable cities; sustainable communities; green transport, social innovation
- Green marketing: green communication; greenwashing; green labels.
