Conference of Scientific Students' Associations (TDK) - 2022 Spring
Everyone currently enrolled in ELTE Faculty of Social Science’s any bachelor’s or master’s programme can participate in the Conference of Scientific Students' Associations (TDK) by submitting a 20 to 40 page-long written scientific paper due to April 12, 2022. The conference will be held on May 13, 2022.

DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION

Send your paper to tdk@tatk.elte.hu until April 12, 2022 (8 a.m.). In all cases, the TDK secretary will acknowledge by e-mail the receipt of your application. If you do not receive a reply within one day, please contact the TDK secretary to ensure that your paper does not accidentally get into the spam folder of the mail system.

The titlepage of the paper should NOT contain the name of the applicant or the name of the supervisor. Please include this information in the application email to which your paper is attached. If you are an applicant with special needs, please also indicate in the same email the type of assistance you would like to have at the TDK conference.

The titlepage should ONLY include the title of the paper, the field of study and the type of training the applicant is pursuing (e.g., BA in International Studies) and a code-word of the applicant's choice to identify the thesis (e.g., "Owl").

Margin: 2,5 cm
Titlepage, table of contents, paragraphs, bibliography
Charts and illustrations may appear in the body and in the appendix as well

KICK OFF

On February 18, 2022, at 2 p.m., there will be an online kick-off meeting where students may ask questions related to the paper or the conference. Registration is not needed.

THE TDK CONFERENCE

Date: May 13, 2022

It is a faculty-level conference where applicants are expected to present their research in 15 minutes, and to reflect on the opinion of an evaluator, which they have received beforehand. Students can qualify for the national TDK conference by participating at this local one.
