The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the following concepts: concept of business, enterprises, ownership and leadership, management, forms of enterprises; net present value, opportunity cost of capital; investment decisions; risk, yield, maximising present value, economic and accounting profitability; financing decisions; market effectiveness; financing enterprises; financial analysis and planning; financial management.
