TTDT next meeting

The date of the next TTDT (Doctoral Council of the Field of Social Sciences) meeting is January 13, 2025.

The deadline for submitting requests to the TTDT is Friday, January 3, 2025.

Information on the conditions for credit requests

A credit application can be submitted four times per academic year (twice a semester):

Deadline for submission via Neptun: September 30, December 31, March 31, May 31.

Mandatory documentation:

  • Application completed in Neptun
  • Publication: published text, publication details (link), MTMT link for the publication OR proof that the text has been accepted for publication (in case the publication is delayed so that the text cannot appear by the last deadline when the student is still allowed to submit a request)
  • Conference participation: certificate of attendance 
  • Education: certificate signed by head of department / programme manager and/or screenshot from Neptun
  • Statement of support from the supervisor (if not possible in Neptun, e-mail saved in pdf format is also acceptable)

Study plans

Deadline: October 15, 2022

Doctoral students prepare their study plans in the beginning of every academic year over the course of their studies. This plan includes the student's detailed plan regarding course work, research and teaching activities, publications and conference participations. The deadline for the submission of study plans is October 15.

The head of the Doctoral School and the heads of the doctoral programmes approve the study plans for the academic year, which the students have prepared with their supervisors and the head of the relevant doctoral programme has authorised and, if necessary, share their observations with the students and the supervisors.

Progress report

Deadline: May 15, 2023

At the end of every academic year, students have to prepare a progress report on the work they have accomplished, which their supervisors authorise. (Annex 3, Aspects of evaluation) The deadline for the submission of the progress reports is May 15. On the basis of the opinion of the head of the relevant doctoral programme.

Comprehensive exam

Registration deadline: Spring term 31st March / Autumn term 31st October

Tutorial consultation memo

Deadline: last day of the study period.

Tutorial seminars are mandatory in each semester. At least one meeting per month is required with the presence of the doctoral student and the supervisor during term-time. Meetings can be face-to-face or online – depending on the actual circumstances. A short memo written by the student is required about these meetings. The doctoral student has to upload the memo to the virtual folder provided by the administration of the doctoral school.
