Traineeship Mobility - Erasmus+ scholarship, tuition fees
1. How can I apply for additional financial support?
You must submit the application for additional financial support together with your Erasmus+ traineeship application via email to your faculty international coordinator. Later submissions of the application for additional financial support cannot be accepted.
For more details on the additional financial support and the required documents, please refer to the following link.
2. I missed the deadline for the application of additional financial support. Can I still apply?
3. As a self-funded student, do I still need to pay the tuition fees during my mobility?
Yes. Only students with an active student status are eligible to participate in the Erasmus+ mobility programme, provided that they fulfil the financial obligations required for enrolment. Consequently, students must also pay their tuition fee for the semester they spend on mobility.
4. Next semester I’m going to be on an Erasmus+ traineeship mobility. When do I need to pay the tuition fees?
You will be informed via Neptun about the payment and the deadline of the tuition fee (usually for the autumn semester the deadline is 15th of October, for the spring semester the deadline is 15th of March). Please make sure you pay your tuition fee on time as your active student status depends on it, which is prerequisite for receiving the Erasmus+ grant.
5. Do I still need to pay the English language curriculum development fee when I will be on an Erasmus+ mobility abroad?
Yes. Only students with an active student status are eligible to participate in the Erasmus+ mobility programme, provided that they fulfil the financial obligations required for enrolment. Consequently, students must also pay their English language curriculum development fee for the semester they spend on mobility.
6. Do I need to have a euro-based bank account to receive the scholarship? Is Revolut/Wise acceptable?
Yes. We recommend that you open a euro-based account for your Erasmus+ scholarship. Revolut and Wise are also acceptable.
7. When can I expect to receive the scholarship?
The first instalment (90%) of your scholarship is expected to be transferred within 4 weeks of the receipt of the signed Grant Agreement. Attention! The ELTE Department of Erasmus+ and International Programmes (ENPO) undertake the above deadlines only in case of complete documentation and completion, if amendment is needed, the Grant Agreement will be sent with some delay!
