Electronic study systems—NEPTUN and CooSpace
The electronic study system used at ELTE is called Neptun. The system is used for academic administration (e.g.: registering for courses and exams), finances and communication. The login name and the password, which can be changed later, are sent to students before the start of the semester by e-mail. For visiting students, registration is made by the International Office during registration week. All changes in one's course list (dropped courses, newly taken courses) have to be reported to the international office.
In two days' time after visiting students have registered to the courses, they get access to the Coospace system which allows teacher and students of a course to communicate with each other, upload work material, readings, handouts and homeworks, to write tests etc.
