Erasmus+ Student Mobility Programme 2022/2023
Eötvös Loránd University now accepts applications from students who would like to participate in the Erasmus+ Student Mobility Programme in the 2022/2023 Academic Year.

Within the framework of the Erasmus+ mobility programme, accepted students will receive the opportunity in the period of 1 June 2022 – 30 September 2023 to:

  • participate in a study abroad programme at one of our Erasmus+ partner universities,
  • complete a traineeship (either during studies or after graduation) at a university, professional institution, or non-profit organization abroad in an Erasmus+ programme country.

WHO CAN APPLY?

Students

  • who have student status at Eötvös Loránd University at the time of the application;
  • with Hungarian nationality or registration of permanent residence permit or residence permit
  • in case of studying in a bachelor (BA) or one-cycle studies: already have at least 1 closed semester;
  • with active student status at Eötvös Loránd University in the semester of the planned mobility (except of internship of post graduate students);

HOW TO APPLY

Applications for study mobility must be submitted online in the NEPTUN system AND also must be sent by e-mail to the International Office of Faculty of Social Sciences (international@tatk.elte.hu).

Deadline: March 7, 2022 at 8 p.m.

Traineeships can be applied for continuously in the specified application period (7 February – 7 March 2022, until 20:00) in the Neptun system; outside of the application period, it must be submitted to the international coordinator of Faculty of Social Sciences (international@tatk.elte.hu)

DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED

 Compulsory documents:

  • application form: Please fill in electronically!
  • motivation letter and study plan: The document contains the motivation for participating in the Erasmus program as well as a preliminary list of courses you want to take at the host university. If you indicate more than one university in your application, you do not need to prepare more documents, it is advisable to focus on the university named in the first place.
  • CV
  • transcript of previous terms issued by the Academic Registrar’s Office (For Master students, the Bachelor grades should be also attached)
  • copy of the diploma (in case of Master or Phd Studies);
  • proof of language proficiency (details in the Evaluation Criteria)
  • For students applying to traineeships: Letter of Acceptance / Letter of Admission (the host institution/company issues to the student.) With regard to Covid emergency, if a student does not receive a letter of acceptance by the assembly of the Student and Teacher Mobility Committee, applications without a letter of acceptance will be granted conditionally supported status. If the student submits their letter of acceptance after the assembly, the application will become supported.
  • For students applying to North-Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey: Consent to data transfer to third country
  • for non-Hungarian students: copy of the registration of permanent residence permit or the copy of the residence permit or the copy of the refugee status

Optional:

  • certificate of active participation in the Student Union or any other organization (HÖK, ESN, OTDK stb.

PRACTICAL MATTERS FOR STUDY ABROAD

Students choose from the higher education institutions (so-called partner universities) available to them. Students must obtain all the relevant information on the partner university’s webpage about the offered courses on specific study level and the level of language proficiency required.

Scandinavian universities typically work with an early nomination deadline, so if you want to apply to this country, you should apply as soon as possible.

PRACTICAL MATTERS FOR TRAINEESHIP ABROAD

Students independently seek an internship (no university partnership required). Applications may be submitted to any organization or institution located in an Erasmus + program country (see the list of countries in the detailed call for applications), with the exception of the institutions and bodies of the European Union. EVALUATION OF THE APPLICATIONS

Submitted applications will be evaluated and scored according to the following criteria and scoring system by a professional board comprising of lecturers from the Institutes: evaluation criteria.

Based on the above points, the Institutes/Departments nominate students to the Erasmus Board (for study tours, internships and financial grants).

The full list of the accepted students will be approved by the Students and Staff Mobility Committee expectedly in the second half of April 2022.

Supported students will be informed via Neptun message and via their e-mail found in Neptun not later than 3 weeks after the Committee’s decision. (To see the result you have to login to Neptun.)

All the applications for internships submitted later will be approved by Students and Staff Mobility Committee once in every months, thus it is still possible to apply for Erasmus+ traineeships after 7 March 2022.
