What is Shack Budapest?
SHack Budapest is a social hackathon with the purpose of planning, designing and creating prototypes of smart digital solutions that tackle societal challenges – in just 48 hours!The hackathon unites participants from different backgrounds like coding, developing, social innovation and entrepreneurship to plan, design and create a prototype of a smart “wearable” health solution. SHack Budapest is organized in the framework of the EYA (European Youth Award) together with local and international partner universities/organizations, taking place from February 20–22, 2020.

18–30 years of age, coders, programmers, designers, innovators, social changemakers – students from MOME, ELTE, BME, Corvinus University Budapest and Semmelweis University

Your Role as an ELTE-student
You will work in teams. In the team, your responsibility will be to contribute to team work by expediting your project's social impact and promoting social responsibility. ELTE is not looking for and delegating IT specialists, we are looking for studenst with strong social sensitivity and commitment.
