Karolina Lendák-Kabók, the PI of the Momentum research group MIXED was featured in the public affairs radio programme PoliTér on Radio Novi Sad.
In the first-part of the conversation (broadcasted on 13 February 2026), she discussed the social significance of mixed families, questions of identity and belonging, and the ways in which historical traumas and state regulations shape everyday life in post-conflict societies. The programme also addressed how intermarriage reflects shifting social boundaries and how mixed families may contribute to social cohesion in Central and South-Eastern Europe.
In the second part of the conversation (broadcasted on 18 February 2026), she addressed the position of women in higher education and research in Serbia, Hungary, and the wider region of Central and Eastern Europe. Particular attention was devoted to the situation of minority women, who may face additional challenges as they navigate disadvantages related both to their ethnic background and to gender-based inequalities, potentially resulting in multiple forms of marginalisation.
The radio appearance formed part of the project’s broader dissemination activities and aimed to foster cross-border academic and public dialogue on issues of diversity, identity, and coexistence.
