On May 7, 2026 the Faculty of Social Sciences at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE TáTK) hosted the second Student International Affairs Roundtable, bringing together key student organizations and institutional actors for a focused discussion on student life and cooperation.
Participants included representatives of the Student Union, ISAC, InSINC, the Stipendium Hungaricum Mentor Program, HEAD–ELTE, and the Buddy Program, alongside staff from the International Office and Vice-Dean Zoltán Gábor Szűcs‑Zágoni. The meeting provided a platform for direct exchange between student representatives and faculty leadership, enabling participants to share experiences, identify challenges, and outline potential areas for joint action.
A key outcome of the roundtable is the coordinated preparation of the upcoming Orientation Day for new students, supported by multiple student-led and institutional initiatives. Beyond this immediate collaboration, participants emphasized the importance of sustained cooperation aimed at enhancing the student experience at the faculty.
The roundtable format is planned to continue on a regular basis—at least once per semester—strengthening channels for student input and contributing to the development of shared priorities within the faculty community.
