The Students’ Letters Conference provides an international academic platform for students and emerging researchers to present their work, exchange ideas, and engage in interdisciplinary discussions on contemporary social, political, and global challenges. The event encourages academic dialogue, critical thinking, and collaboration across disciplines and cultural backgrounds.

The 4th Students’ Letters Conference focuses on issues related to risk, uncertainty, resilience, and social change. The programme features parallel sessions covering a wide range of topics, including education, gender and feminism, health policy, migration, geopolitics, governance, politics, and artificial intelligence.

The conference will open with a welcome address by Prof. Zoltán Gábor Szűcs, Vice-Dean for International Affairs at ELTE's Faculty of Social Sciences.

The conference opens with a keynote lecture by Dr. Laura Kromják, entitled “When Risk Outlives Conflict: Intergenerational Trauma and the Lasting Consequences of Forced Displacement.”

The conference offers participants an opportunity to share their findings, receive feedback, and connect with fellow students and researchers in an international academic environment.

The detailed conference programme is available in the attached agenda.
