The IPSA Research Committees Colloquium, titled Minorities Under Siege? Plural Societies Facing Plural Challenges, was held in Bolzano, Italy, from 24 to 26 June 2026.

Karolina Lendák-Kabók, leader of the Research Group MIXED, presented her paper, "Kin-State Politics, Dual Citizenship, and “Us/Them” Boundaries: Hungary–Serbia through Mixed Families", in the panel Kin-State Policies, Minority Politics and Beyond. The presentation explored how kin-state policies, dual citizenship, and ethnic boundaries are interpreted and negotiated through the everyday experiences of Hungarian–Serbian mixed families.

Karolina Lendák-Kabók also participated in the conference's Meet the Editor panel in her capacity as Associate Editor of Nationalities Papers. Together with Stefan Wolff (Ethnopolitics), Sherrill Stroschein (Problems of Post-Communism), and Timofey Agarin (Nationalism and Ethnic Politics), she shared insights and exeriences on academic publishing, peer review, and editorial work in leading international journals.
